On the occasion of World Recycling Day , celebrated on May 17, we review some firms that are already committed to recycling when manufacturing their designs , either by taking advantage of leftover fabrics, using recycled fibers or making upcycling an art by transforming waste seascapes into Haute Couture pieces (Iris Van Herpen) or turning tea towels into lightweight coats (Marine Serre).
